Enable or Disable Alt+Spacebar shortcut for Copilot Quick View in Windows 11

On Windows 11, when you press the Alt + Spacebar key combination, you will chat by voice with Copilot from version 1.25024.100.0 or higher to activate quickly. However, many people who do not need to use Copilot or the voice chat feature can confuse this shortcut with another action. Below are instructions for disabling the Copilot Alt + Spacebar Windows 11 shortcut.

How to disable the Copilot Alt + Spacebar Windows 11 shortcut

1. First, open the Copilot application on Windows and then click on the profile icon and select Settings in the displayed list.

2. Go to the Copilot settings interface on Windows. Here, users just need to turn off the Alt + Spacebar option to disable the Copilot Alt + Spacebar shortcut on Windows 11 as shown below.

After completing the steps, you can still access Copilot, but you will have to open the app directly.

If you want to use this shortcut again, just re-enable Alt + Spacebar, then choose how to chat with Copilot.
