How to Show Program Names on Windows 10 Taskbar

The Taskbar in Windows 10 comes with a lot of customization. One of those customizations allows you to show/hide text next to icons in opened windows on the Taskbar. You can display the icon and the name of the window at the same time. In this article, we will show you how to hide or show icon names next to icons in the Taskbar on Windows 10.

1. Right-click on Taskbar and then click on Taskbar settings.

2. The Settings window will open

3. Scroll down to find Combine taskbar buttons

4. Click on the drop-down and choose Never.

5. Instantly, you’ll notice that any open windows listed on your taskbar now show labels as well as the app icon.

If you change your mind, you can always undo it by selecting Always hide labels in the Combine taskbar buttons menu. Happy computing!
