Where is the Startup Folder in Windows 10 for All Users
1. Open File Explorer. Browse to the following folder.
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
2. Quicker method to go to this folder:
Go to start menu and type Run. Press enter. Type shell:startup in the open field and press enter.
3. The Windows 10 startup folder should appear in the middle of your screen, ready for you to remove or add programs to it.
4. If you want to add a program:
- Right-click within the folder to open a menu.
- From this menu, select New and then Shortcut.
- In the dialog box that pops up, select Browse to choose the program you want to add from a list of programs.
- Choose your program and click OK and then Next.
- Select Finish.
5. If you want remove a program from the startup folder:
Click the program you want to remove and then select the Delete button at the top of the folder. (The Delete button icon should look like a big red X.)
