Method 1: Disabling All Animations Through
Settings
1.Open the Settings app. Press the Start
button and select the Settings
2.Choose Ease of Access category.
3.Select the Other options from the options
in the left sidebar.
4.Toggle the slider under "Play
animations in Windows" to "Off". This will disable all
animations.
To re-enable animations, simply slide the slider to
"On"
Method 2: Disable
Background apps
1.Open the Settings app. Press the Start
button and select the Settings
2.Choose Privacy category.
3.Select on Background from the options in the
left sidebar.
4.On the "Background " page use one
of the two options:
- Turn off the Let apps run in the background toggle switch to disable all apps acquired from the Store.
- Turn off the toggle switches for the specific apps you don't want to run in the background.
Method 3: Disable Startup Programs
1.Open task manager from your taskbar or by
pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
2.If you see the small panel, click More
details to switch to the big panel.
3.Open the Startup tab.
Right-click on the apps you don’t need to start
automatically at Windows Startup and select Disable or Enable if it was
already disabled and you want to enable it back
Method 4: Disable Transparency Effects
1.Open the Settings app. Press the Start
button and select the Settings
2.Choose Personalization category
3.Select Colors from the options in
the left sidebar.
Toggle the button under Make Start, taskbar,
and action center transparent to Off.
Method 5: Disk Cleanup
Right-click the partition where you want to
use the Disk Cleanup tool. For example, if you want to use this tool for a C
drive, you would do the following:
Right-click on the drive Partition C: =>
select Properties
The next, click the Disk Cleanup option.
This will bring up the options for deleting.
Check the files / files you want to delete and click Clean up system files as
shown below.
Ok, now you can delete the files you want.
Method 6: Disable Unnecessary Services in
System Configuration
2.In System Configuration, go to Services tab
and check Hide all Microsoft services.
3.Scroll down the slider and uncheck those
services that are unnecessary to run during the bootup process. Then click
Apply.
4.Restart of the computer
Method 7: Disable visual effects
In order to manage visual effects to speed up
Windows 10 use the following steps:
2.Type sysdm.cpl and click OK to launch
System Properties.
3.Under "Performance," click the
Settings button.
4.On "Performance Options," under
"Visual Effects," select the Adjust for best performance option to
disable all the effects and animations.
Important: Using this option will also affect
the way fonts are rendered. If you want to keep fonts crisp and more readable,
select the Custom option instead, clear all the settings, but leave the Smooth
edges of screen fontsoption checked.
5.Click Apply.
6.Click OK.
